Author Character Comparison
I think J.R.R. Tolkien is most like Pippin. In the Lord of the Rings Pippin is a character i would describe as stupidly smart. He constantly is making dumb decisions but they always turn out good in the end. In J.R.R. Tolkien's biography he is described as "foolishly brave, or stupidly clever". In this way he is very much like Pippin in how he has the same traits.
